Non Compete Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements
In today's business environment, it is common for employers to require workers to sign employment agreements at hiring. These restrictive covenants are meant to prevent an employee from stealing trade secrets or using insider knowledge to start a competing business. If a non-compete clause is too broad, the employee may be able to challenge its legitimacy, seeking nullification and any damages.
